I have been eagerly awaiting this book, the team is back and Operation Nobody has a new case after the last one that was tough for them all and opened up a few clues from the past and one thing is for sure Liz is determined to get her father, so when they are handed a cold case to unravel and soon discover that it could be linked with their past case and Liz’s father Kyle Mooreland things heat up pretty fast and the worry that there is a mole in their team gets more worrying.
The team and Liz are working very hard to uncover what happened thirty years ago in the double murder of a prominent wealthy family who happened to be the parents of a senior police office, now deceased but has ordered the old mansion be left as is until the case is solved, so the team starts at Heberden House and there are many discrepancies that they find and when this case is opening up they discover it is linked with the European based crime group they investigated last case and that included Liz’s father, the team dig deeper and Liz is remembering things from her childhood that could also help the team get their answers.
This is fast paced and edge of your seat suspense as they uncover clues along the way but the big worry about a mole is growing and Kyle Mooreland is getting more threatening, will he take the team out to get what he wants and will they discover the mole and will they all be safe at the end of the investigation and how will it affect their personal lives.
Wow, I loved this one so much MS Clark has again written a story that pulled me in, I feel very close to this team and was cheering them on throughout the story, you can feel the tension and pressure throughout the pages, I am loving this series and I do highly recommend it and I do hope that there are more Liz Mooreland stories to come, a must read.
My thanks to the author for my digital copy to read and review.
