I am always up for an Annie Seaton book, she writes fabulous stories and this one has been sitting on my TBR pile for a while, I have read books four and five in the series and I knew I needed to read the first three and I was not sorry, only sorry I have waited so long to read this one. It is another fast paced edge of your seat story with a fabulous cast of characters and I loved it from start to finish.

Ellie Porter is a pilot and she loves what she does she works for Makowa Lodge in Kakadu National Park taking tourists for scenic flights, she has spent most of her life here, firstly growing up on a mango farm until the death of her father which has always haunted her. Ellie has just returned to Makowa Lodge after a holiday with her mother and sister and on her way home she sees lots of trucks pulling into the old mango farm so the next time she is in the air she flies over and does not like what she sees. Ellie is determined to investigate and find out what is happening she is sure things are not right.

Kane McLaren has moved to the area and been hired as an engineer not a pilot his past is still too new for that, but he is here to help look after his mother and do his job looking after the choppers, meeting the strong willed Ellie may be just the thing to help him get over the past that is if the danger from Ellie’s investigating leaves them both safe.

Ellie needs someone she can trust and Kane is that man, it doesn’t take long before they are getting closer and opening up to each other danger is getting closer all the time as people are getting killed and the intrigue gets deeper.

This is an awesome story so much tension as the scheming of one man grows and more people are pulled in, Ellie does not give up not matter how much danger there is, the setting is totally fabulous even with all of the crocodiles, this is a must read book, I loved Ellie and Kane they deserved to find their HEA, I can’t wait to pick up book two. I do highly recommend this one.
